Regular support, with clear and simple pricing

The strongest tutoring relationships develop over time. Our memberships are designed for families looking for consistent, ongoing support rather than short-term tutoring.

More than the lesson itself

Membership means more than regular one-to-one lessons. It means a carefully chosen tutor who gets to know your child, backed by an academic team that's there for you and your child.

The right tutor from our team

We take the time to understand your child and what you're looking for, then choose the tutor from our team we believe is best suited to them.

Someone who really gets to know them

Regular sessions give your child's tutor time to really get to know them. As that relationship develops, so does their understanding of how best to support them.

FAQs

How do I know how many weekly sessions my child needs?

You don't need to decide this on your own. Tell us about your child and what you're looking for, and Alan or Lara can help you decide on an appropriate starting point. You can then adjust the number of weekly sessions as their needs change.

Can my child have tutoring in more than one subject?

Yes. Weekly sessions can be spread across different subjects. For example, your child could have one Maths session and one English session each week, with the combination of subjects changing as their needs develop. Where appropriate, the same tutor can support your child across more than one subject.

Can my child have more than three sessions each week?

Absolutely. Three weekly sessions isn't an upper limit. Additional weekly sessions are £120 per month each, making it possible to build a more extensive programme across several subjects, including for Home Education.

Can we change the number of weekly sessions?

Yes. Your child's needs may change over time, so you can increase or reduce their weekly sessions as their education develops. Alan or Lara can discuss any changes with you and help you decide what level of support would be most appropriate.

What happens if my child's tutor isn't the right fit?

The relationship between tutor and student is central to our approach. If at any point you feel the pairing isn't quite right, speak to us and we'll take responsibility for finding another tutor from our team who may be better suited to your child.

What happens during school holidays?

Tutoring Heroes runs throughout the year, including during school holidays and most bank holidays. We know that families sometimes need greater flexibility during holiday periods, so sessions can be rearranged where needed. We close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and Easter Sunday, and any sessions that fall on these dates will be banked and rearranged with your tutor.

Is there a minimum commitment?

There is no minimum commitment. The strongest tutoring relationships develop over time, and Tutoring Heroes is designed for families looking for consistent, long-term support. Our approach works best when tutoring becomes an ongoing part of a child's education, supporting their progress as their needs and priorities change.
